 Founded in 1983 by the Menscer
family, Star Leasing Inc has become a local leader in the trucking
industry. Star Leasing continues to
maintain family values and a down-to-earth atmosphere despite its growth to
over 100 employees and hundreds of satisfied customers. Since 1985 when the
company bought its first truck, Star Leasing has expanded its business to
include full-circle logistical and brokerage services, warehousing, and
distribution.
Today Star Leasing is a 48 state
general commodity carrier, with team and single driver and a direct service
into Tijuana, Mexico—providing local delivery for its warehousing and
distribution. Through hard working dedicated drivers and helpful, accessible
management with years of experience Star Leasing has grown into a reputable and
valuable member of the transport and distribution industry. "After World War II, I was working in a grocery store and realized that I could not support my family. I began driving a truck in 1948. I purchased my first truck in 1950; leased to Harris Express out of Charlotte, NC. I spend the next 15 years with Overland Transportation in Akron, Ohio as head dispatcher.
